While at working for an agency in Texas, I was assigned my first social media client: Artea. Artea, a Taiwanese eatery in east San Antonio, wanted to grow their digital presence to broaden their awareness in the local community. After familiarizing myself with their current consumers and products, I discovered that the students at the local university were a large untapped market. Not only was the university rapidly growing, but the students could also resonate with the current customers interests of foodie and K-Pop content.

With that in consideration, I did an overhaul on their Instagram. My team and I took new photos of their latest menu items to create an edgy and clean look while I combined playful design elements like their signature neon pink, gradients, stickers, and gifs to bring their new social media presence to life. In 18 months, the account’s following grew by roughly 33% without any paid content.
